The most important thing you can do during the holidays is to make sure you have the resources to support you during this time. It can be difficult to open up to your family about what you’re going through, especially if you haven’t told your family about your experience with abortion yet. In these cases, it may be beneficial to ask a close friend that you’ve confided in to come with you to the holiday events to provide emotional and physical support. Joy in the Midst of Sorrow
Even with the most positive mindsets, we know it’s all too easy for sorrow or negative thoughts and emotions to cast a cloud over our day.
